New student applications for the 2026–2027 Utah Fits All Scholarship cycle open April 1, 2026 and close May 1, 2026. Applications are not first come, first served. Families are placed in enrollment preference categories, and award notifications are typically issued within 30 days after the application window closes.
The Utah Fits All Scholarship gives Utah families greater flexibility and choice in K–12 education. Eligible Utah students can use scholarship funds for approved education expenses, including tuition at qualified providers like Ideal School.
Ideal School is an accredited K–12 online bilingual school and qualified provider. Families can use Utah Fits All Scholarship funds toward Ideal School tuition and receive admissions support after an award is confirmed.

Once your award is confirmed, use scholarship funds for approved Ideal School tuition and eligible education expenses. Ideal School can help families align enrollment steps with Odyssey funding requirements.
Private school enrollment: up to $8,000 for the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 school years.
Home-based education: up to $6,000 for students ages 12–18 and up to $4,000 for students ages 5–11.
Ideal School tuition: between $5,000 and $6,000 depending on grade level, so eligible scholarship funds may cover full tuition.
Funding can be used for approved private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, materials, and other qualifying education expenses. The program administrator is Odyssey as of May 2025, and the 2026–2027 program allocation expanded to $120 million.
